Illustrated by

Lauren John is a Chickasaw citizen currently pursuing a master’s degree in sequential art at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has worked as a contractor for the Chickasaw Nation, contributing to graphic design for the Rosetta Stone Chickasaw program.

She also worked as a teaching assistant for the Chickasaw Nation Summer Arts Academy in 2022 and 2023. Lauren enjoys drawing, journaling, traveling, and spending time with her family and her cat, Gigi.
